Ask The Right Questions
Don't be dazzled by a home's nice decor or pretty furnishings. Ask the
serious questions that give you a true picture. On your first visit,
you'll probably spend 30 minutes checking out the floor plan,
kitchen and baths, whether there is a garage and how big the back
yard might be. If this looks like the home for you, get out your
list of questions and start making notes.

Homeownership Tax Preferences
A new study details the importance of homeownership tax preferences in
all congressional districts. Among the 35 million taxpayers who use
the home mortgage deduction, the average amount of mortgage interest
deducted among each tax filer is $9,650. For those who deducted real
estate taxes, the average is more than $3,000, making these two of
the most widely used and important preferences in the federal tax
code.

Your
Good Credit - Part 3
Good credit can be your best friend - bad credit your worst enemy.
It's vitally important to protect this asset and reduce your
vulnerability. We are all aware of identity theft but there's no need
to panic. If you are a victim, you will be required to prove your
innocence. But, as with everything in life, prevention is best.

Your
Good Credit - Part 1
There was a time when getting a loan was easy. You simply walked into
your neighborhood bank and asked the person sitting behind the desk,
who may have been a personal friend. It was easy. They knew you and
probably your whole family. They also knew how good a credit risk you
were. All you had to do was shake hands and sign a piece of paper.

A Day In The Life Of A Realtor
It seems an easy enough job. As an agent, your friend tells you about
someone who is thinking about selling their house. You give them a
call, stop in, fill out a few forms. Or you spend the day touring
beautiful homes with your friends until they find something they like.
A short while later, your friend/customer buys a house and you make a
commission that seems like a lot of money.
